Does anyone know if a jump start can really happen the same day I call?

Yesterday my 2016 Toyota RAV4 gave me nothing but a weak click in my building parking, and I had a client meeting across the city at two in the afternoon. My first thought was to ask a neighbor, but everyone had already left for work, so I stood there with my phone trying to decide what to do. My brother says any service will say “same day” and then show up whenever they feel like it, so I should not trust the promise. My neighbor says it depends on the time you call, because mornings and evenings are the busiest and you can wait much longer. A friend at work told me to always ask for the real arrival time and the full price before agreeing, and to check if they test the battery before leaving. Another colleague said his service came in thirty minutes but only started the car and drove off, so it died again the next morning. I read a page on while I waited, and it explained the steps of a proper visit and what should be checked afterward, which gave me a better idea of what to ask. In the end a delivery driver helped me, but I do not want to depend on luck again. Since then I have been asking around about a Same-day jump start for dead batteries across Dubai, because I work in different areas each week and I want one number that covers all of them. My questions are easy. How long did you wait after calling, and was it close to what they promised? Does the service still work if you are stuck in an underground parking with no signal? Should I replace the battery right away if it dies once without warning? And how long should I drive after the jump before switching the engine off? Please share what you do. Thanks for reading.
