Quote from esmebailey on April 20, 2026, 9:27 amI never thought I'd be the guy complaining about air conditioning in a Lamborghini but here we are, my 2016 Huracan has been my weekend toy and occasional daily for the last eighteen months and while I've made peace with the fact that the front lift is a bit finicky and the infotainment is basically a rebadged Audi unit from a decade ago, I cannot accept that every time I drive from my place in Sharjah to a meeting in Dubai I arrive with my shirt plastered to my back because the AC seems to have two settings, vaguely cool when I'm cruising on the highway at 120 and completely useless when I'm stuck in traffic on the E311 with the engine fan sounding like a jet preparing for takeoff. I had a shop in Al Quoz look at it a few months ago and they said the system pressure was fine and the compressor was engaging properly and that "these cars just run hot because the engine is right behind you" which is probably true to some extent but I've been in other Huracans that felt like a freezer on wheels so I know mine is underperforming and I suspect it might be a partially blocked condenser or maybe the cabin filter hasn't been changed since the Obama administration. I've been trying to find a Lamborghini AC Service Workshop in Sharjah that actually has the right equipment to evac and recharge the system with the correct refrigerant weight and maybe do a proper leak test with nitrogen instead of just guessing, because I'm tired of paying dealership prices for what should be a relatively straightforward job on a car that shares a lot of its HVAC components with the Audi R8. Anyone here with a Huracan or a Gallardo ever dealt with weak AC in this climate and found a place on this side of the creek that actually diagnosed the real problem instead of just shrugging and saying "that's just how they are" because I refuse to believe that driving a supercar in the UAE means accepting that I'll be a sweaty mess whenever I'm not moving at triple digit speeds.
