Local drip trays keep cracking under our machines, worth paying more for imported ones

We run a small vehicle maintenance bay attached to a logistics yard and for the past year we've been going through drip trays at a rate that honestly feels ridiculous, the cheap ones we've been buying locally crack along the edges within a few months, especially the ones sitting under equipment that gets moved around occasionally during cleaning or servicing, and I'm starting to wonder if we've just been buying low quality stuff this whole time without realizing there was a better option out there, one of our senior technicians who's worked in a few different shops before joining us mentioned that some imported trays hold up noticeably longer, specifically ones manufactured in the UK, since apparently the material and molding process tends to be more consistent compared to a lot of the generic options flooding the local market here, which honestly surprised me a little because I always figured a drip tray is a pretty simple product that shouldn't vary that much between manufacturers, but clearly that assumption has cost us more in repeat purchases than I initially realized, while looking into this I came across a listing for premium UK made oil drip trays which seemed to match what he was describing, and the pricing wasn't as dramatically higher as I expected compared to what we've been paying locally once you actually factor in how often we've had to replace the cheaper ones, does anyone else here run a workshop or garage setup and have experience comparing imported trays against locally sourced ones, and if so did you notice an actual meaningful difference in how long they lasted under regular use, also is there a specific weak point that tends to fail first, because for us it's almost always the edges cracking rather than the base, which makes me wonder if it's specifically a material flexibility issue rather than overall build quality, I don't want to just assume imported automatically means better without some real feedback from people who've actually made that switch themselves and dealt with the results over time, so if anyone's gone through a similar situation of cheaper trays failing repeatedly and eventually switched to something more durable, I'd like to hear whether it actually solved the problem or if you ran into a different set of issues instead, because at this point replacing cracked trays every few months is starting to feel like a bigger ongoing cost than just paying more upfront for something that actually lasts under daily wear in a busy workshop environment like ours.
