Pajero battery keeps dying – is it the desert driving?

I've got a 2013 Mitsubishi Pajero that I use mostly for commuting but I also take it out in the desert every other weekend for dune bashing. I'm on my third battery in two years and I can't figure out why. I don't leave lights on, and I drive the car almost every day. The shop keeps selling me the same size battery but I'm wondering if the constant vibration from off roading is killing them prematurely. I live in Arabian Ranches and I'm looking for an 80D26L Battery Replacement in Arabian Ranches that is specifically designed for rough conditions. I saw Amaron's battery page and they mention heavy duty options. Has anyone here with a Pajero or similar off roader found a battery that lasts more than a year? Should I be looking at a deep cycle battery or a dual purpose? Also could my alternator be the problem if it's overcharging? I'm tired of getting stuck in the desert because of battery issues. Any advice from the off road community would be great. Thanks.
