XJ gearbox jolted so hard today I thought I'd been hit, ZF 8 speed acting possessed

I really don't want to drive all the way to Dubai with the gearbox acting up so I've been searching for Jaguar Automatic Gearbox Repair Sharjah to see if there's a specialist closer to home who can check the fluid level properly with the car running and the transmission at the correct temperature using the proper ZF Lifeguard fluid and not just some generic ATF that'll ruin the clutches. Anyone else with a modern Jag had a random violent jolt like that and found it was just a fluid top up or an adaptation reset rather than a sign of impending doom because I really love this car and I'm not ready to give up on it just yet.
